The Problem

The DX cooling plant serving the Alcoa Pinjarra Refinery’s onsite laboratory had failed and therefore restoration was under a tight timeline to ensure continued operations for the client.

Full DX evaporator dismantle in situ, using technical manuals to guide the process given the complexity of the in-place rebuild

Evaporator rebuild in situ following new condenser installation

Crane engagement with proper lift planning and execution to safely maneuver the custom condenser into its restricted location

Comprehensive safety procedures implemented throughout in compliance with Alcoa refinery safety standards

Full system recommissioning and performance verification following installation
