The Problem

The existing traditional evaporative cooling units were not performing especially in humid conditions, the client wanted an energy efficient and cost affective system that cooled the space affectively but wouldn’t require business interruptions and internal works due to the internal trampoline fitout restrictions.

The existing system was difficult to access due to roof height and the crane reach required

Limited internal access due to trampolines installed throughout the venue restricted the use of scissor lifts and standard access equipment

The works needed to be completed with minimal disruption to business operations and revenue

Site power restrictions did not allow refrigerated systems to be installed.

The Solution

Given the client request, we found that climate wizards would meet site requirements and be the most cost-effective means of cooling the space

Working closely with a crane company, we found the correct size which was required for full day of lifting

Climate wizards, being quickest to install, also ensured continued revenue for the business with the quickest turn around

A custom BMS interface was installed to control all systems effectively and overcome proprietary controls limitations and site conditions.

The Outcome

All equipment was installed without incident, under the allowed for time. Units were all operable and commissioned with minimal fuse. The result was an energy-efficient, effective cooling solution delivered with minimal operational impact.
